Top Three Events Occurring in Harrisonburg this Weekend

- Jame Madison University Football:
No. 1 Dukes face off against Villanova for the NCAA FCS Quarterfinal playoff game this Saturday at Bridgefoth Stadium here in Harrisonburg. The kickoff is at 3:30 pm. Tickets are still available. Call the ticket office at 540-568-3853.
- Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance’s Holidays On Main Street
The Dowtown Renaissance is kicking off the holidays season with a downtown celebration Saturday, December 6 from 4-8 pm. Events include a Salvation Army canned food drive, hot cocoa and tasty treats, photos with Santa, carolers, horse and carriage Rides, “The Grinch who stole Christmas” outdoor film, and official tree lighting with Harrisonburg’s Mayor.
- Downtown Harrisonburg Farmer’s Holday Market
The Downtown Farmer’s Market is sponsoring a special holiday edition of one of the areas favorite and fastest growing weekly traditions. Come to the brand new Market Pavilion between 9am and 12 noon to purchase seasonal specialties from an aray of local vendors.
Building 10 Takes Shape
The framing on the basement, first, and second floors of building 1o is nearly finished. It’s taken less than three weeks to put 16,000 square feet of single-family residence under roof. Check back this coming Tuesday, December 9 to see images of the roofing trusses as they are installed in under a day.
